We are fortunate in having a number of facilities surrounding the Hall, in addition to a large 75+ vehicle car park.

These include the following:

Reachers Retreat Playground:

The play area is a public area managed by a charity – Dorney Playground Management – and cannot be booked. However, it can be used by attendees at events in the Village Hall. It provides an expansive play area, which features an aerial runway, jungle climber, tower unit and adventure trail, amongst other equipment. Please ensure that the playground is left clean and tidy after use.

Area for Bouncy Castle

Bouncy Castles may be arranged by event organisers for indoor or outdoor usage. Most Bouncy Castle providers will be using a high van or truck. Please be aware that there is a height restriction to the gate at the entrance to the lane leading up to the Village Hall from Meadow Way. We will advise the code to use to open this gate when we provide the access instructions to the Hall prior to your event.

If the Bouncy Castle is on the land close to the Hall and not encroaching on the Playground or Football Pitch, there is no need to book it in. It can’t go on the Playground, but if you wish to use the Playing Field/Football Pitch please see details below.

The Multi Usage Games Area

This area can be used by events in the Village Hall, but it cannot be booked. It operates on a first-come-first-served basis.

The Tennis Court

This can be used by events in the Village Hall, but it cannot be booked. It operates on a first-come-first-served basis.

A large Playing Field/Football Pitch (above the Playground in the picture above) – Trumpers Field

The playing field/football pitch, next to the Playground, is a public area owned by Bucks Council and can be booked in association with events at the Village Hall.

Bucks Council Playing Field Indemnity Letter – Draft Letter to be sent by Hirer to Bucks Council when using the Playing Field/Football Pitch in Trumper’s Field, next to Dorney Village Hall, for Marquees or other purposes relating to a booked event in Dorney Village Hall.
